Job Title: Manual Tester Executive (Web & Mobile Applications)

Job Summary:

We seek a detail-oriented QC Executive to ensure flawless performance, usability, and security of our websites, eCommerce platforms, and Mobile apps. The ideal candidate is a quick learner with strong analytical skills, expertise in cross-browser/device testing, and awareness of current trends (eCommerce, AI-driven UX, mobile-first design). You’ll collaborate with developers, designers, and PMs to deliver high-quality digital products.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Testing & Quality Assurance

  • Perform manual testing for:
    • Websites/eCommerce: Functional, UI/UX, regression, cross-browser, and compatibility testing.
    • Mobile Apps: Functional, UI/UX, performance, and security testing (iOS/Android).
  • Validate payment gateways, cart workflows, and user dashboards (eCommerce focus).
  • Conduct security testing (SQL injections, XSS, data encryption).

2. Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Test across browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).
  • Identify bugs, document clear repro steps, and track defects via Excel.
  • Ensure adherence to W3C standards, WCAG accessibility, and SEO best practices.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript to debug front-end issues.

3. Process & Documentation

  • Create test cases, scripts, and plans.
  • Prepare detailed test reports with bug severity/priority.
  • Suggest improvements based on Core Web Vitals, performance metrics (Lighthouse, GTmetrix).

4. Collaboration & Soft Skills

  • Work closely with developers, designers, and PMs in Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Communicate issues clearly and constructively.
  • Manage multiple projects with strong time management.

Skills & Qualifications:

✅ Must-Have:
  • 1+ years in manual testing for websites/apps (eCommerce preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • Cross-browser/device testing.
    • Functional, regression, usability, and security testing.

  • Understanding SDLC, Agile, and QA best practices.
  • Quick learner with awareness of trends in websites/app.
  • Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
✅ Good-to-Have:
  • Basic API testing (Postman).
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools.
